Karissa joined the beauty industry in 2012 and has developed a passion for the art of both cutting and coloring all hair types. Karissa graduated from the AVEDA Institute of Denver with her Cosmetology and Barbering Licenses. AVEDA inspires Karissa in using naturally derived products to enhance the natural beauty in all her guests. Karissa continues to keep up on the most current techniques and latest trends by attending local and national advanced training in hair cutting and hair coloring to ensure that her guests are being provided the most current and professional services possible. As a Master Stylist at DAmetri's, Karissa completed the 8 month advanced training program and brings an exciting energy and extensive knowledge base to personalize each guest's individual experience. Karissa loves providing her guests with their desired results to make them feel like the best versions of themselves. At D'Ametri's Karissa also enjoys being a part of the Color Training Team to teach and inspire new stylists. Outside of the beauty industry Karissa has a love for animals, traveling the world, listening to good music, practicing martial arts, smiling, and having fun. Karissa's goal is to spread good vibes through creating naturally beautiful hair and simply connecting with others.
